Lamprobe

Lamprobe is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses a small medical instrument (probe) to quickly and efficiently treat skin conditions (skin tags, cholesterol deposits, age spots, clogged pores, benign moles, fibromas, keratosis, milia, whiteheads, vascular legions, and cherry angiomas).

Women and men of all ages with minor, non-cancerous skin conditions can benefit from a Lamprobe cosmetic treatment. Lamprobe treatments are performed on an out-patient, in-office setting. In most cases, a topical anesthesia (numbing agent) is used for patient’s comfort. It typically takes approximately 3-5 seconds, for each spot during treatment. In some cases, the treatments may need to be repeated a few times for maximum results.

During treatment, a medical professional uses the Lamprobe to seal off blood flow to the treatment area. The theory is that blood is drawn towards the heat sources emitted from the Lamprobe. The heat vaporizes the treatment area cells, killing them instantly and ensuring that they do not return. The dead cells peel off leaving healthier, new skin and no scar! There is minimum recovery time required. You should be able to resume your normal activities within 24 hours. Furthermore, you should notice a positive change in your appearance within a week.

It is important to consult with a trained medical professional (i.e.board-certified Dermatologist or a licensed Medical Aesthetician) to find out if you are a good candidate for this cosmetic enhancement procedure. The texture of your skin will be much smoother with those little annoying skin irregularities gone.
